Dashbilly (the Teacher Seller Dashboard), operated by Teacher Seller School. Last updated October 30, 2026.

What the dashboard is

The dashboard reads a business’s own sales records from the services its owner connects (shopping carts such as ThriveCart or Kajabi, payment processors such as Stripe and PayPal, and the QuickBooks Online company file for purchase orders) and computes that business’s metrics: subscribers, trials, churn, revenue, refunds and purchase orders.

What it collects

Only what those services report about the business’s sales: order and subscription records (amounts, dates, product names, status), refunds and disputes, invoice and payment records from QuickBooks (customer name, billing email address, amounts, dates, line descriptions), and the email address on each sale so that one customer’s payments can be tied together. It does not collect card numbers, bank details, passwords, postal addresses, IP addresses or browsing data, and it never writes to any connected service.

How it is used

Solely to compute and display the business’s own metrics to the people the business owner authorizes. It is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any other purpose.

How it is stored and protected

Data is stored in a Postgres database hosted in the United States (Neon, through Vercel) and served over HTTPS. Every page requires a sign-in. Credentials for connected services are kept as environment variables on the hosting platform, never in the code or the database; the one exception is a token a business owner grants through a sign-in at the service itself (for example QuickBooks), which is stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and can be revoked by the owner at any time with the Disconnect button, or from inside the connected service.

Retention and deletion

Records are kept while the business uses the dashboard. Disconnecting a service stops new data from being read; the business owner can ask for a business’s stored records to be deleted entirely, and they are removed within 30 days.
